Toy Story 3 is a 2010 American computer-animated comedy film produced by Pixar Animation Studios for Walt Disney Pictures. In the film, Andy Davis, now 17, is leaving for college. He destroys all the toys before he leaves and the movie is about them living in hell now.

The Perfection is a 2018 American psychological horror thriller film directed by Richard Shepard, and one of the rare movies to garner a score of 0 from me.

Under the Silver Lake is a 2018 American neo-noir black comedy thriller film written, produced and directed by David Robert Mitchell. Set in Los Angeles in 2011, it follows a young man (Andrew Garfield) who sets out on a quest to investigate the sudden disappearance of his neighbour (Riley Keough), only to stumble upon an elusive and dangerous large-scale conspiracy. It's one of my favorite films of the last 20 years.

While my 13-year-old self (99% dead now) appreciates these on some level, I can only take so much of them / genuinely appreciate them in reality. John Wick is an American neo-noir action thriller media franchise created by screenwriter Derek Kolstad and owned by Lionsgate. Keanu Reeves plays John Wick, a retired hitman who becomes active again in his quest for vengeance. I watched the first two movies and I think I'm good.

Man, Robert Eggers makes good movies. The Witch (subtitled A New England Folktale) is a 2015 period supernatural horror film written and directed by Eggers in his feature directorial debut. The film stars Anya Taylor-Joy, Ralph Ineson, Kate Dickie, Harvey Scrimshaw, Ellie Grainger, and Lucas Dawson. Set in the 1630s, The Witch follows a Puritan family who encounter forces of evil in the woods beyond their New England farm.

The first and only film by the novelist-turned-director Hu, who died by suicide soon after finishing his film on 12 October 2017 at the age of 29, it is based on a story with the same title from his 2017 novel Huge Crack.

Giallo master Lucio Fulci's "Gates of Hell" trilogy consists of the (VERY) loosely connected movies City of the Living Dead (1980), The Beyond (1981) and The House by the Cemetery (1981). Actually, I'm not sure why this is a trilogy, to be honest.
