In this episode, I look at the importance of engineering the legacy we want to leave behind by backing up our life – just like we'd back up a computer or a phone.

In this episode, I take you through the itinerary for a lovely Irish road trip I took with my friends Ruth and Laura. Our main aim? To visit the Craggy Island Parochial House from Father Ted! (Plus some other Ted-related locations.) I also talk about my past trips to Dublin and Waterford, and my general love for the Emerald Isle.
*Correction* In this episode I state that the town of Waterford in Ireland doesn't have a mayor. Waterford does actually have a mayor; it just wasn't the guy we were talking to.

In this episode I talk to my special guest and travel buddy friend, Deanna Lowe. Deanna Lowe is a Canadian wine blogger, professional marketer, and world traveller. She started her blog, Wineisseur, during the pandemic with the goal to educate people about wine to help them make better purchasing decisions. Since then, she has worked as a Sommelier in the Okanagan, one of Canada's top wine regions, completed her WSET2 and travelled to wine regions around the world, including Champagne and Porto. As her knowledge of the wine world expands, so has the depth of knowledge she shares with her readers on Wineisseur.
I met Deanna in Javea, Spain, and have since spent time with her in Devon, England, during her four-month Europe trip. In this episode we discuss wine, the best wine-related places to visit, solo female travel, balancing remote work with travel, the differences between English and Canadian words and phrases, and how to sabre a Champagne bottle – something you can use as an impressive party trick! In this episode Deanna also flips the script on me and interviews me for a while, so make sure you check it out!
