Google recently announced that it was expanding it's Google Fiber network

to Charlotte.  It made the local news.  Having internet speeds up to 1 Gbps

can actually improve property values in a neighborhood.  Soon after

Google's announcement, AT&T announced it's gigabit service for Charlotte.

photo apps, Levitagram and Groopic. We also review a smart sprinkler system

controller called Rachio.

This week we review an article from Cult of Android comparing some of the

new features of Android with iOS.  Plus we ponder what will be announced at

the WWDC this week.

Marv has some more information about the Apple Watch and how he used Apple

Pay with it.  Also this week Google announced Android Pay which has a lot

of similarities with Apple Pay.  Google also announced Google Photos where

they will store all of your photos in the cloud for "free", but there is

always a catch.

This week we troubleshoot stalled Photo Library uploads to iCloud.  Then we

found 50 Apple Watch tips and tricks.  

Tim found that by turning the iCloud Photo Library switch on and off in

Photo preferences he was able to identify and correct an issue that was

causing the library upload to stall.

Marv found a YouTube video with 50 Apple Watch Tips and Tricks like using

the Watch to take photos with his iPhone.

Marv got his Apple Watch earlier than expected so we dive into its features

and functions in this episode.

We get a lot of use out of our Macs and we found a lot of free or almost

free software to do it.  Tonight we talk about how to do things in Preview,

Automator and Photos that you probably didn't know you could do.

This week people started receiving their Apple Watch's and started

reviewing them and trying to destroy them.  Marv is still waiting for his

to arrive.  Tim had a interesting experience with Apple Pay when he was

issued a new credit card.  Finally we take a quick look at PowerPhotos to

help manage multiple Photo libraries.
