I had a bag of beans sent me, but will it be a beanstalk?

I have been looking at vintage clothing from the 1940s as part of my quest for Englishness. 

The log man cometh yesterday and it was all hands to the pump. 

Getting up in a cold house is like waking up in a cave, and I believe it is good for you.

Sitting in bed with a hot drink, talking about food and the power of restraint. 

 I have a warm feeling today of having made some good stuff recently. 

I had a lovely day filming another Sussex Border Walk yesterday. 

I have decided to no longer answer the comments on Youtube - reasons are explained. 

Having a success is great, but it also can be a ruddy pain in the neck. 

I love the early mornings when the light is up.
