On his arrival from Geneva with his wife Chantal Biya, the 91 year-old did not speak to the public. But he did wave at supporters gathered nearby as his car drove away from the airport in the Cameroonian capital Yaounde.

French President Emmanuel Macron will make a three-day state visit to Morocco, the Moroccan royal palace announced on Monday, which it described as a reflection of 'the depth of bilateral relations based on a deep-rooted and solid partnership'.

President Ramaphosa will attend the BRICS Summit in Russia from Tuesday to Thursday (22- 24 October). The Russian Federation’s BRICS Chairship in 2024 is under the theme "Strengthening Multilateralism for Just Global Development and Security”.  

South Africa’s participation in the summit is aimed at enhancing the country’s growth and development through its membership in BRICS, focusing on strengthening intra-BRICS relations and fostering mutually beneficial cooperation.
