African leaders call for reforms of international institutions 

African leaders attending the summit of BRICS nations currently underway in Russia, spoke out on about what they see as important issues on the international stage. 

“International developments have shown that the shortcomings of the current international system are not limited to political and security issues, but extend to economic and development issues,” said Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi.

Nigerian President Bola Tinubu has reshuffled his 45-member cabinet, naming seven new ministers, sacking five and reassigning 10 others to new portfolios.The ministers of finance, defence, national planning and two junior energy ministers all retained their positions.

Prime Minister Sam Matekane's security apparatus has been plunged into severe jeopardy. This after the National Security Service (NSS)'s signal jammer went missing from that troubled national spy agency. Also missing is a high calibre AK 47 rifle.
