The EFF in Tshwane has submitted an urgent motion of no confidence in City of Tshwane Mayor Stevens Mokgalapa. According to the party the City has been limping from one disaster to another since Mokgalapa succeeded former mayor, Solly Msimanga, last year. This follows the leaking of an audio recording in which Mokgalapa is heard gossiping about his colleagues with Member of the Mayor Committee for Roads and Transport, Sheila Senkubuge. The National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) has decided to charge Julius Malema for allegedly firing live ammunition into the air at a rally to celebrate the EFF’s fifth birthday in the Eastern Cape in 2018.
