South Africa’s major banks will appear before Parliament’s Trade, Industry and Competition Committee next year to explain their policies. This after Parliament’s chairperson of the trade, industry and competition criticised them over credit practices and banking charges, saying that at times banks impose unilateral policies without transparency.
