Today marks the deadline for the governing African National Congress to hand over its cadre deployment records to the Democratic Alliance. Last week, the ANC lost its appeal at the ConCourt in an attempt to have it overturn the High Court ruling that they should hand over records dating back to 1 January 2013. Over the weekend, the DA revealed that the ANC has asked for more time to gather the required documents. However, they made it very clear to the ANC that they won’t entertain this request.
