Magistrate's court hear an estimated 95% of cases in the country and for the public, this is the component of the Judiciary they will encounter frequently. A new report called "Under Pressure" has been released on the challenges faced by magistrate judges internally and externally. The survey comprised 48 questions that examined themes such as work environment, sexual harassment, intimidation, corruption, safety and death threats.
