The General Workers Industrial Union of South Africa says that it is distressed that their members were shot at earlier in the day allegedly by Clover’s private security guards. Results for the Independent Examinations Board or IEB class of 2021 have been released and the 2021 IEB Class achieved a 98.39% pass rate. So as part of celebrating this year’s top achievers – we now speak to Yi Lou (matriculant from St Peter's College) who achieved a remarkable 8 Distinctions, attained 100% for Core Maths, 99% for Physical Sciences, 98% for Engineering Graphics Design, 98% for Advanced Programme Maths, as well as 94% for Advance Programme Physics.

Apparently this issue has been going on since December last year. Today marks the commencement of the 2022 Academic Calendar for coastal schools and as such we speak to KZN Education MEC Kwazi Mshengu about the province’s state of readiness.
