According to Stats SA, South Africa's unemployment rate jumped to a record high in the fourth quarter of last year. They also suggest that unemployment was largely affecting young people aged between 15 and 24 years with a rate of 63.2 percent and with those aged between 25 and 34 with a rate of 41.2 percent.
