In this episode, Leone highlights her thoughts and agreeance with Dr Jeff Rediger, author, physician, psychiatrist and theologian. Dr Jeff Rediger's book, Cured: The Life-Changing Science of Spontaneous Healing explores both scientific, evidence-based research and anecdotal experience to acknowledge the body's ability to heal itself.

Leone herself very much believes "if we can get sick, we can get well" and now no longer medicates for her previous diagnosis of Hashimoto's thyroiditis. Her clinic, Harvesting Health treats clients using a mind-body-spirit approach and this reflects Dr Rediger's experience as well.

Disordered Eating Sits In A Place Between Normal Eating And A Diagnosed Eating Disorder. In a world of Google misinformation it is difficult to understand what foods are nutritious and how we should eat them

Leone explores and explains the differences, the symptomatic behaviours of several eating disorders, and disordered eating. Reflecting on her own journey of overcoming Anorexia and Bulimia Nervosa she explains how she then developed disordered eating and exercising patterns of behaviour.

She shares the knowledge of Viktor Frankl (a neurologist, psychotherapist and holocaust survivor) and Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi (a Hungarian-American psychologist) and the experience of meaning-making and creating FLOW to achieve happiness. She candidly discusses how that looked for her in relation to her lived experience of losing her son, Matthew to SIDS and how that loss eventually ignited the power within her.
