On this episode of The Neighborhood Watch Podcast, I hopped on Zoom to talk to Dr. Jessica Barron, author of the book 'The Urban Church Imagined' and consultant with national consulting firm Frontline Solutions.

In this interview, we talk about the role of an under-reported phenomenon taking place in cities, church plants.

For those not aware, church plants are churches that are started in (usually) urban areas with the hopes of spreading the gospel. But there also is a business component to this as church plants are in many ways franchises of large denominations.

With these changes, in particular, these church plants play a unique role in a gentrifying city like Atlanta.

The Neighborhood Watch Podcast is officially back after a hiatus and in this episode, I speak to Kyle Stapleton. Kyle is the Sr. Manager of Culture and Experience at WarnerMedia, formerly Turner, based here in Atlanta.

In this episode Ash Nash, the Creative Projects Manager for PowerHaus Creative, an Atlanta based art collective. In a few years short years Ash, has amassed a cultural impact in the Atlanta art scene surpassed by no one.

Ash Nash was the Co-Creator of the Kaeperbowl, a real-time public art and activism installation happening in Atlanta on the weekend of Super Bowl 53 which was also held in Atlanta in February of 2019.

Ash has also managed several prominent Atlanta-based artists including Fabian Williams.
