Gather round for our last mini myth of this season, Banshees & Mistletoe!
Listen as Erin and Meghan talk about the legends of Banshees and how one of them predicted the death of the assassinated King James I of Scotland, plus did you know that mistletoe is actually a parasite?!? We also talk about a connection Meghan found between Lydia Martin and Gnarls Barkley's hit "Crazy", and we have to thank Pliny the Elder this time around for recording an ancient Druids ritual of the cutting of mistletoe to help with infertility. Don't worry, Pliny doesn't get off that easy, we later find out he thought carrying mistletoe in your pocket would help cure seizures.  This was a very silly and fun episode to record, additionally this episode is very special because our own mythology expert edited this masterpiece!

Welcome back! This week on The Nemeton Podcast we rewatch S3 E10 The Overlooked. In this fast paced episode, it is a game of capture the flag, the flag being Jennifer, or is that her real name. A big storm has blown in and when Beacon Hills Memorial Hospital has to be evacuated it becomes the main stage for the game at play. The alphas want Jennifer because they are afraid of what she will do when she reaches full power, Jennifer wants Derek and Scott for protection from the alpha pack. Derek and Scott need Jennifer as she is the only one who can  heal a dying Cora and knows where a waiting to be sacrificed Sheriff Stilinski is. Only thing is Jennifer wont do anything until she is out of the hospital and safe. But did Jennifer really need their help or was going to the hospital her plan all along just to collect another guardian.

This week on The Nemeton Podcast, Meghan, Erin, and Avalon break down one of Meghan's favorite episodes, The Girl Who Knew Too Much. 
We talk about how Scott is now determined to find a weakness in Deucalion's pack, and he starts with Ethan. When a deputy is murdered at the school, we find out that the BH police dept. is bringing in back up to take down the murder. Allison enlists Isaac to help her figure out if her father is the Darach, when they find another clue spelling out all of the categories of victims Allison is nervous about her fathers involvement yet again. Stiles feels the pressure to tell his Dad what really is going on in Beacon Hills, but what he didn't realize was that his Dad is incapable of believing in what is actually going on. When Lydia is at the sight of yet another sacrifice being taken, we find out that the new pattern is philosophers, which also means teachers, teachers who are on their way to a recital at the school, planned to honor all of the losses. With all of the teachers in one building Scott is determined to find the Darach, but it's actually Lydia who finds herself face to face with this dark druid.

We are back again with another shocking episode, S3 E7 Currents. Listen as hosts Meghan, Erin, and Avalon talk all things like when Mama McCall takes charge at BHMH when she saves Danny's life but also fills in for the missing doctors who end up being the next sacrifices, falling under a new category, healers. With healers as the new target the last person Scott thought would be taken is Deaton. We also discuss when Ms. Morrell gives Stiles and Scott guidance by steering them to the only person who is tapped into the supernatural, Lydia. Stiles and Cora put Lydia up to a bunch of tests to help find Deaton but ultimately Lydia gives them the idea to look into what Danny knows. Danny’s school project and Allison’s keen eye help Scott figure out another clue into the ways of the Darach. We also talk about how Boyd’s plan to shock the alpha pack goes wrong, Scott must choose between saving Deaton and helping Derek. Ultimately, we find out that it's not Derek that Deucalion wants in his pack, it's Scott.

On todays episode Meghan, Erin and Avalon discuss Derek and Ms. Blake's relationship, the team of humans who rescue the werewolf's, and listen how the girls react to Scott in the end of this episode. We also talk about how the cross country meet has postponed and the bus full of students are now forced to check into a creepy off the highway motel called the Grand Capri. This motel not only is rough on the outside by what lies inside the walls is truly scarier. With weird things only happening to the werewolves, it is up to Stiles, Allison and Lydia to make sure the werewolves stay in reality, and Stiles reminds everyone that they have been through something like this before. Although the Darach is still unknown, their ploy to take 3 werewolves ends up in flames. 

And like Lydia says “a lot can happen in one night”
