These are pivotal times for President Joe Biden and the Democrats who must decide on whether to continue to have Joe Biden at the top of the Presidential ticket given his decline which was evident at the presidential debate last week Thursday, where he could not complete his answers/sentences, seeming oblivious at times, coughing with a cold and speaking slightly unintelligibly. Democrats and many on the left or left-leaning are urging him to get out of the race. Joe Biden has remained resolute accepting his failures at the debate but has not indicated that he would bow out, and stated that he is not going anywhere. Biden was also interviewed by the ABC team, days after the debate, hoping to repair the damage and to look presidential and able. Regardless, the interview on ABC did not do anything to quell the rising discontent. If anything, Biden appeared still suffering from a cold.

Group Presentations: Cuba and Puerto Rico, and Haiti and Dominica Republic: In this episode of The NeoLiberal Round Podcast and YouTube Channel, we continue with The Caribbean Thought Lecture series Week 4 Lecture 7 at Jamaica Theological Seminary In this session, the students presented on their selected islands providing a brief analysis of each of their island. The students highlighted the historical, socio-political, economic contexts and current realities of the islands. The students also shared one or two major thinkers/figure from the islands.

In this week's Lecture, Prof. McKenzie discussed Caribbean Thought as part of Post post-colonial theory which includes a critical examination of the legacies of slavery on the Caribbean. Prof. McKenzie delivered a Lecture which introduced postcolonialism and Critical Thinking within Caribbean Thought. As we close out the month of June, enjoy this short episode from Center City Philadelphia where we captured a bit of the event: Celebration of Music Month, by the Thinker Maker Society, who was wrapping up an event in Dilworth Love Park center city. It was a buzz with life, fun, fellowship as people listened to the music, and checked out the vendors who had booths at the event highlighting and selling their talents and goods, in the updated park awash with waterworks as part of its decor.
