So in silence, and you are not concerned, but you ask a question, it may come or it may not come that night. But you ask the question, what is the purpose of it all? You do not question for one moment that God is for you met God."

Here is an excerpt: "Well, tonight’s subject is “Call the Next Witness.” Everyone in the world will be called as the next witness. We are told in the Book of Isaiah: “And now go, write it upon a tablet and inscribe it in a book that it may be for the time to come as a witness forever” (30:8). So the first witness is the book, that book is our Bible. It is a witness forever. But our Bible, in this instance, is the Old Testament, that’s the witness."

And then for four Sundays men are watching—this is all traditional—and they’re watching for the coming of a great event, the second coming of the Christ at the end of this age. So that’s what man watches for, for the second coming which will end this age.

Moses said to God: “If I come to the children of Israel and say to them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me unto you,’ and they ask me, ‘What is his name?’ what shall I say?” The Lord said, “I AM who I AM”—sometimes it is translated “I AM what I AM” or “I AM that I AM”—but any form of the verb “to be.” I AM who I AM. Here is an excerpt: "Tonight's subject is "God Has a Purpose," an infinite purpose, and no one will thwart it. But within the framework of his purpose, you and I could have unnumbered objectives, and no one, really, could thwart it if we really understand this law; the law that was given to us…how we, too, can realize these purposes. A purpose, in a strict sense, is a deliberate conceived plan proposing a certain action, or a plan to be executed within that action."

Here is an excerpt: "Tonight’s subject is “The Supreme Ideal.” But really this is a misnomer, because it would have to be relative to the level on which man is placed. For what is to me today a supreme ideal would not be my ideal tomorrow after I’ve obtained it. But you can, if you have an ideal, you can realize it, and one should have an ideal. Here is a formula by which it can be realized: You sow a thought, and you reap an act; you sow an act, and you reap a habit; you sow a habit, and you reap a character; you sow a character, and you reap a destiny. So, it all goes back to the thought that you sow."

Here is an excerpt: "Tonight’s title is taken from the Book of Jeremiah. It’s the 15th chapter, the 16th verse: “Thy words were found, and I ate them, and thy words became to me the joy and delight of my heart,” - and then he tells the results of eating these words – “for I am called by thy name, O Lord, God of hosts.” He found the words, he ate them, assimilated them, and then it produced this knowledge that he who ate then, who assimilated them, is actually the very being that is the cause of all the phenomena of life. The whole vast universe was himself pushed out, that everything was created by him, and he didn’t know it until he found the words. Then he ate them, and having eaten them he assimilated them. And that’s what you and I are called upon to do. We take food in, and we assimilate what we can build into our system, and then we reject what we cannot use."

Here is an excerpt: "Tonight’s subject is “Jesus: God’s Plan of Salvation.” God’s plan of salvation appears so different in prospect from what it really is in retrospect. If you haven’t experienced it and you trust the one who has, do not at any time forget or ignore the out and out supernatural character of this plan of salvation and never try to interpret it in some naturalistic way. That’s what the whole vast world tries to do with the plan of salvation. It’s supernatural from beginning to end. The whole drama takes place in the inner man: The inner man is Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ in you is the hope of glory, so it hasn’t a thing to do with something on the outside. The whole drama is taking place on the inside. And so, I have experienced it, and let me share with you what I have experienced."
