Mike Martin is the voice of Project Mindfully Outdoors. It is Mike’s inspirational story that serves as the backdrop upon which the project was started. Following a failed sucide attempt and many months of being homeless in the wake of some major life changing events. Mike began a journey of self discovery during which he began to confront the obstacles within his mental health. This path led him to take up the cause of ending the silent suffering that comes with depression and anxiety.
Through his work Mike has self published many articles relating to mental health and self growth through the outdoors. In 2021 he started the Project Mindfully Outdoors podcast. A show that documents his journey.

Just finished the manuscript of his book No one’s beyond redemption. (Reconnecting with his daughter and fostering a healthy relationship for both of them.
