Update on the conflicts in Ukraine and Syria for December 21-22, 2024…

- As Russian forces continue advancing across Ukraine, they appear to be pivoting from bases in Syria to Libya;

- Russia’s position in Ukraine has overstretched it regarding Syria, but appears to have a better position in Libya;

- Ukraine’s recent assassination of a Russian general in Moscow is part of a practice of assassinating military and political leaders as well as journalists for over a decade without any positive effect;

- Ukraine’s intelligence agencies have been admittedly built up and overseen by the US Central Intelligence Agency since 2014 meaning the US is culpable for all actions carried out by these agencies;

- The true capabilities of the Oreshnik intermediate-range ballistic missile are coming to light as images from the targeted industrial plant emerge;

- President Putin’s marathon Q&A session (4 hours+) reveals Russia seeks a permanent end to the conflict in Ukraine, not a freeze as the Biden and now the incoming Trump administration appear to be attempting to propose;

- The incoming Trump administration has been filled with cabinet members representing continuity of agenda, meaning that US aggression worldwide will continue well into 2025;

More must be done across the multipolar world to expose Washington’s regime change “superweapon,” promote the means by which to defend against it including foreign agent laws cutting off NED and adjacent foundation funding, and the creation of pipelines creating future political leaders, diplomats, business owners, and journalists who serve the best interests of their own nation, not Washington’s, and the creation of social media platforms within and between nations of the multipolar world beyond Washington’s control.

- Syria's collapse is a loss for the Syrian people and their Iranian, Russian, and Chinese allies;

- It is a reminder that while US military and industrial power wanes, it still possesses potent "superweapons" in terms of monopolizing information space, poisoning populations against their own best interests, and toppling nations;

- The US strategy has been to create multiple crises for Russia along its periphery including in Syria, forcing Russia to make difficult decisions regarding where it commits limited resources;

- The multipolar world must accept the reality that what is essentially World War 3 is ongoing and they will all eventually be targeted in turn;

- Investment is required in securing and defending national and regional information space from US interference through the creation of local education programs producing journalists and analysts, local social media platforms to replace US-based platforms, and laws ending foreign funding of media inside targeted countries;

Update on US proxy war in Syria…

- Syrian forces continue withdrawing following a large offensive carried out by US-sponsored terrorists from Idlib, northern Syria;

- Syrian forces previously withdrew from these regions during the 2011-2015 phase of the US proxy war against Syria;

- Russian intervention allowed Syrian forces to incrementally take back territory with a specific task force, city-by-city, in operations that spanned years;

- It is still too early to draw conclusions about the disposition of forces on either side, including how overextended Russian and Iranian forces may be or the full depth of combat power of US-backed terrorists;

- Syrian forces are likely falling back because they are incapable of holding all of this territory at once, particularly in areas like Hama and Homs serving as traditional strongholds of US-backed extremism and will need to incrementally retake it as it did from 2015 onward;

US Proxy War with Russia in Ukraine Extends to Syria

- The collective West is increasingly struggling to maintain the illusion of primacy in Europe as Russian forces advance on the battlefield, Western missiles fired into Russia fail to change the strategic direction of the conflict, and tensions dangerously escalate between the West and Russia;

- Ukraine’s military continues to deteriorate as Russian combat power grows, accelerating Russia’s gains on the battlefield;

- Russia has demonstrated escalation dominance with the use of its Oreshnik intermediate-range ballistic missile, allowing for non-nuclear retaliation against Western targets if necessary;

- France and the UK’s discussions over deploying troops to Ukraine is likely a bluff. The feasibility of deploying these troops and having any impact on the conflict is negligible and would only weaken the collective West both literally and in terms of perceived political, economic, and military power;

- Beyond Ukraine, the US is opening up fronts in Georgia through street violence and a large, renewed US-armed terrorist offensive in Syria’s north;

- The US will continue pushing everywhere hoping cracks form because of its inability to defeat Russia in any one single point of conflict;

- The restart of US-backed hostilities in Syria is a stark warning to Russia regarding accepting any peace deal from the collective West and their proxies which would only serve as a means of regrouping, rearming, and relaunching hostilities at a later date;

- The Syrian conflict, like in Ukraine, is the product of US proxy war stretching over several years and multiple US presidential administrations;
