Hey group, we are a month away from Sci Fi Valley Con and only a week away from Marcon, the Multiple Alternative Realities Convention, in Columbus Ohio. Marcon is an old school science fiction convention with some of everything from books to media, cosplay, gaming, and a few things unique to fandom. If you have never gone, it's just a short trip away. We start our week's discussion with David Morgan, Department Head for Publications and Publicity for Marcon. I also take a quick look at a magazine you should check out if you want a broad sampling of the sciences. Science News is a publication of the Society for Science and the Public and each month, it gives you capsule reports on the latest science. It is just the thing for the would-be science fiction author or just those interested in science.
