In this episode of The Next 90, Nick is following up from his last podcast "Rage Volcano," including a breakdown the following day, which caused him to feel alone. The heaviness was like a tidal wave. Reaching out through his chat group of men, made him realize he isn't alone; you aren't alone unless you choose to be. In this episode of The Next 90, Nick is having a bad day and wondering what the purpose of all this is. He is ready to burn this shit down. Nick is a positive person usually, and the difference with him having a down day is he has the tools to get on the other side of it. It's okay not to be a happy go lucky guy; he may not want to do this today, but he is because he committed to it. In this episode of The Next 90, Nick talks about a friend of his who always says, "Chop Wood Daily" which essentially meant to do work every day; but it has a more significant meaning to Nick now. They have purchased a ranch recently and have been building things for the Black Out Experience with trees on the property; so they have been chopping a lot of wood. It is a lot of hard, repetitive work to get that tree to fall; it warms you twice. From the physical act of chopping the wood to burning it in the fire and it gives off warmth. It starts with the initial decision to chop down the tree, to move the obstacles; doing your Core 4 is chopping wood every day. Take the fruits of your labors and put them to work; Grab the fucking ax and chop some wood.

In this episode of Next 90, Nick tells the Nation "that there is nothing noble about being superior to your fellow man. True nobility lies in being superior to your former self."- Ernest Hemingway. Life is about expansion, about being superior to who you were the previous 90 days. Right now you are moving in one of two ways; in a downward or upward spiral. Then Next 90 is about closing the gap on the downward trajectory and using the tools we have to rebound and come back up; to keep moving upward and be superior to your former self. In this episode of Next 90, Nick shares with the Nation that one of the benefits of what he does is that cool people surround him; Within his company and the groups of men, he is associated with from The Warriors Way. One such brother is Garrett Bake. He is Nicks right hand during his immersion events known as Blackout where they help men re-architect their lives. With a voicemail left to him from Garrett and the words, "If not me, then who," Nick realized that is what this is all about. If not me being vulnerable and real, then who? If not me creating the life, I want then who? If not me to be the 1st entrepreneur in my family, then who? If not me to provide jobs for 200+ people, then who? If not YOU, then who? Life doesn't happen organically; it happens for those who go out and get it. Nick wonders if what he is putting into the universe is working, but then he realizes if just one person hears this message, and it reaches them then it is worth it.
