Nick opened up the interview asking which college football coach is sitting on the hottest seat. Gall said that Gus Malzahn at Auburn always seems to be on that list, but pointed to Tom Herman at Texas being put to the test this Saturday against Baylor. Asked about another Clemson Alabama College Football Championship, Gall said he hopes to see it again. He followed that up by pointing to Georgia and Ohio State as possibilities to take on the Tigers. Discussing the 2020 Heisman class Gall gave the nod to Trevor Lawrence as most likely to win it, but followed up that point with high praise for Alabama’s Mac Jones. Gall closed the interview saying there’s no question that the SEC is deeper and more talented than the ACC.
