In this episode I juxtapose the end of House MD with the end of my Year taking the philosophical lesson of the show and applying it to my life where I can and admitting where I tried to apply the philosophy and failed. I also reveal some of what I lied about this year. Hey everybody does it….  

In this episode I talk about my new computer and the software headaches that often go with getting a new computer. In particular I discuss what happen when you have your software keys but not the CDs that came with them. I go on to challenge the pricing scheme of the software industry and relate it to the challenge of making a buck in Multimedia. 

I go over my thoughts and feelings about the US election results. Electoral College, under representation by elected representatives and the general need for more political parties or better yet a direct democracy. This is a very adult episode recorded as it was happening with only a few edits. For me, this is as real as it gets.

Ironic that should happen when trying to sell my skills.

In this episode I ask for your help to support a return trip to England. The main reason I want to return is to study and report back on the differences in the social services available in The US and The UK. Eventually, this could turn into a wider study examining a variety of different countries around the world. But, for personal and practical reasons, starting in England seems suitable.

If you can help in anyway please let me know! My goal is to raise about $2,000. Enough to pay for a round trip ticket from San Francisco to London as well expenses for about two weeks worth of travel and study. More would be wonderful. But, like I said, starting small is a good thing!
