Much like Multimedia Guy this episode has me ruminating about the problems of being a podcaster and trying to make ends meat. I talk a little bit about my programming class that I took last term and would be plans for the Spring 2013 semester had I not gotten sick. I also throw in a bit of Aviation stuff just for good measure  

In this episode I talk about the issues that arise when government agencies like The California Department of Rehabilitation and Far Northern Regional Center which provide generally good services to disabled individuals use private organizations to complete services. Bottom line Privatization doesn’t work.     

In this episode I discuss the gap between the flight simulation community and the aviation community and solicit your opinion on the matter.

In this episode I juxtapose the end of House MD with the end of my Year taking the philosophical lesson of the show and applying it to my life where I can and admitting where I tried to apply the philosophy and failed. I also reveal some of what I lied about this year. Hey everybody does it….  

In this episode I talk about my new computer and the software headaches that often go with getting a new computer. In particular I discuss what happen when you have your software keys but not the CDs that came with them. I go on to challenge the pricing scheme of the software industry and relate it to the challenge of making a buck in Multimedia. 

I go over my thoughts and feelings about the US election results. Electoral College, under representation by elected representatives and the general need for more political parties or better yet a direct democracy. This is a very adult episode recorded as it was happening with only a few edits. For me, this is as real as it gets.   

In this episode I talk about the Chico Airshow. I also comment on my class work, Dispatching, the hoped for England trip, the great side effects of Sun N Fun, plus the need for a new computer. The audio is really bad again. Partly due to the dying computer...Hope you can enjoy it anyway!

In this episode I review my career struggles and the involvement of The California Department of Rehabilitation. I also update you on my progress in C++ and mention my inertest in the travel industry.

In this episode I talk about my desire to monetize my hobbies namely podcasting. I also update you on my other Career searching efforts. I also talk about programming and mention the challenge of being psych meds. It's almost an old style episode complete with crummy audio (very sorry about the audio this time around!). Ironic that should happen when trying to sell my skills.

In this episode I ask for your help to support a return trip to England. The main reason I want to return is to study and report back on the differences in the social services available in The US and The UK. Eventually, this could turn into a wider study examining a variety of different countries around the world. But, for personal and practical reasons, starting in England seems suitable.

If you can help in anyway please let me know! My goal is to raise about $2,000. Enough to pay for a round trip ticket from San Francisco to London as well expenses for about two weeks worth of travel and study. More would be wonderful. But, like I said, starting small is a good thing!

Also, please tell me what you would like to see as a return on your investment…podcasts, papers, blog posts, videos etc. etc. Making videos would require slightly more money as I don’t have a video camera. But, I could easily get over my videophobia if it meant making this trip happen.
