The Nicole Sandler Show

Jacob Dean and Skeptical Scott of Filter Free Radio fill in for Nicole Sandler (Nicole is doing the Randi Rhodes nationwide show for the holidays.) We break down the 60 Minutes NSA propaganda bullcrap from CBS last night trying to mislead We the People and character assassinate Edward Snowden more. Plus Nicole Belle from Crooks and Liars stops by for Fools on the Hill and we touch base with the Talk Radio News Service in Washington, DC for the best of the rest of the news you need to know! Recorded live 12/16/2013 in Portland, OR.

Nicole talks about the crazy absurd news of the day - including the fake signer, Megyn Kelly's assertion that Jesus and Santa are white, and the Pabst Blue Ribbon Festivus Pole that was erected in the FL Capitol rotunda yesterday. Guests include Absurdity Today's Julianna Forlano, She's History's Amy Simon, and the guy behind the PBR Festivus Pole

Nicole comments on the ridiculousness of the outrage about Obama's handshake with Raul Castro and selfie with other world leaders. Crooks and Liars' Susie Madrak and OurFuture.org's Dave Johnson join in the discussion.

Nicole talks about the Nelson Mandela memorial that took place this morning in South Africa and the freak outs over the Obama-Castro handshake. Cliff Schecter guests to talk guns and more as we approach the anniversary of the Newtown shootings. And HuffPost's Zach Carter gave us an update on the TPP.

Nicole talks about the weekend (including Ft. Lauderdale's failure to pull off a great music festival). The American Prospect's Paul Waldman spoke about the costs of healthcare, and Nicole Belle joined in with Fools on the Hill
