We are back with another edition of The Nielson Show! Lt. Eric is on vacation, so YouTube Trev is stepping in. We start off today’s show by recapping our weekends especially Dusty’s rollercoaster of a weekend.

We then dove into Morning Announcements from 100.3 The Bear to recap everything that transpired over the weekend in sport.

After the first sports update, it was time for The Morning After Show. We dove into the biggest moments from yesterday’s game, the super stat and who were the three stars.

To finish off hour one, the fellas gave their good, their bad and their ugly from the weekend.

We got the third hour started with Mr Mikes Kind of Easy Trivia.

It was then time for Three Questions Too Many presented by Park Mazda.

It’s the final edition of The Nielson Show this week and today it’s Matt Iwanyk joined by the great Dave Jamieson! To start today’s show, the fellas got caught up as it’s just like the good ol’ times.

The first segment we hit today was Morning Announcements from 100.3 The Bear. In this segment, like we always do is recap everything from the night before. Jamo also gave an update as to why Canadians haven’t been as interested in Wimbledon compared to previous years.

After the first update, we quickly touched on the price increase for Sportsnet Plus.

Then it was time for Dave Naylor! He first touched on how big this game is on Sunday for the Elks and how different Tre Ford has been playing. He then gave his thoughts on the Calgary Stampeders and just how good their defense has been. We capped of the conversation with this weeks Saturday nighter between the Red Blacks and Ti Cats.

We got the third hour started with Mr Mikes Kind of Easy Trivia.

It was then time for Three Questions Too Many presented by Park Mazda.

It's been a while, but the fellas are back with another editiong of Scalding Hot Takes! Who will win the elusive mitt this time. 

Near the end of the final hour, it was time to get Fired Up from Gemco Fireplaces. More Ike Howard hype from YTT in this segment.

The boys finished off the show with The Wrap from William Huff! 

The new commish of the CFL, Stewart Johnston got the party started at the top of the second hour. Stewart addressed how successful his visit with all 9 teams was, touched on the growth of tailgates and where he sees them going in the future and finding the balance between keeping die hard fans entertained while trying to engage new fans as well. The elephant in the room was CFL Fantasy… his answer is exactly what you want to hear.

It was then time for the Play Alberta Early Bird Bet of the day.

In the middle of the hour, it was time for I Got Beef presented by Acme Meat Market. As per usual, lots of relatable beef from the boys today.

Reid Wilkins capped off hour two with another hilarious hit. He touched on Trev’s beef, the EST Golf Classic and finished with his his thoughts on CFL fantasy and how important it is for the leagues growth…

After the first update, it was time for Offseason, What Offseason?! This conversation took the fellas to the end of hour one. We discussed potential lineups… and YTT can’t get enough of the newest Oiler, Ike Howard.

Sean Whyte was the final guest on today’s show! He gave some insight on what goes into being so effective at this stage of his career, what it’s like being the most accurate kicker in CFL history, and finished with his thoughts on how much the kicking has changed since he entered the league.

It’s Wednesday, which means Lt. Eric’s weekly rankings of power. Today we ranked the best Isaac Howard songs we could potentially make for the upcoming season.

To start off hour two, author, Keegan Matheson joined the show to talk all things Blue Jays. He quickly touched on his new book ‘The Franchise.’ He then gave us some perspective on this team, how they’re playing, the biggest surprises and whether in fact they are a major contender or not..?

Right after Keegan, it was time for the boy’s to give some Free Advice from Damon Bunting. Lots of questions and lots of answers.

It was then time for the Play Alberta Early Bird Bet of the day.

Craig Button joined the show in the middle of the second hour. He shared with us his summer thus far, but then we got right into the meat and potatoes. He gave his thoughts on Isaac Howard, what kind of player he is and what kind of player he thinks he will be with the Edmonton Oilers. Craig finished with his thoughts on Gavin McKenna taking his talents down south to Penn State.

To finish off hour two, it was time for the one, the only, Eric Macramalla. A new day, and same old Macramalla! Lots of laughs finished with his thoughts on the Toronto Blue Jays.

We then dipped into Morning Announcements to recap everything that transpired in the world of sport from yesterday!

In the middle of the first hour, Tampa Bay Lightning writer, Erik Erlendsson joined the show to breakdown the trade of the newest Oiler Isaac Howard. He gave some insight on what kind of player he is, touched on what went wrong with him not resigning in Tampa and finished with whether or not he’ll be in the top six for the Oilers this upcoming season.

After Erik, we all went around the room discussing where we think Howard would fit best in the top six.
