Some events may feel ceremonial or even hollow to us. However, these same events may be very substantive to those we work with. We explore the value of respecting others’ beliefs.

In the first segment I provide commentary on our Sunday School lesson from Mark 11:1-11. In the second segment I borrow from my love of science fiction to illustrate how formidable sin is.

In this episode I take a step back from the normal format for this season and share the history behind the “BH” handle for this show. From the context of my history with that whole BH experience, I share a mild warning about the dangers of offended pride.

Segment one describes Malachi’s instructions for how to free themselves from their curse. Segment two is a father and son discussion about the practicality of faith.

This episode is based around Haggai chapter 1. In the Sunday School lesson, I explore the importance of stepping up and doing what God wants us to do. Some of these responsibilities are not fun, but they’re essential.

The Sunday School lesson for this week emphasizes the importance of perseverance, spiritual integrity and community. The second segment explores opportunities for those of us who may be going through struggles or supporting people who are struggling.

The scripture from this episode’s Sunday School segment will be from Zephaniah chapter 3. There is a description of how evil can permeate all levels of society. In spite of this, God has always had a plan of deliverance for those who dare to stand with Him. The final segment explores how the words “Fight With Us” can take on more than one meaning. Will you fight WITH holiness or will you FIGHT with holiness?
