The Sunday School lesson for this week emphasizes the importance of perseverance, spiritual integrity and community. The second segment explores opportunities for those of us who may be going through struggles or supporting people who are struggling.

The scripture from this episode’s Sunday School segment will be from Zephaniah chapter 3. There is a description of how evil can permeate all levels of society. In spite of this, God has always had a plan of deliverance for those who dare to stand with Him. The final segment explores how the words “Fight With Us” can take on more than one meaning. Will you fight WITH holiness or will you FIGHT with holiness?

This episode incorporated commentary from the Sunday School Lesson followed by Z Time. The Sunday School lesson comes from the book of Habakkuk. Z Time is a discussion about learning to let go.

The Fruit of the Spirit of God is not readily applied in some circumstances. This episode explores some of the potential obstacles that separate us from our opportunities. God can do anything except fail. Occasionally He “tries to bless us” by paving the way for us to affirm Him wherever we may find ourselves.

This episode is a brief, personal reflection on what Reverend Doctor Martin Luther King Jr meant to me.

We end the year and season with a three segment episode. Segment one explores why “the Gospel” is superior to secular truth. Segment two explores Faith through the lens of our Gen Z son. In the final segment I shared how today’s news asks some of the same questions as the Bible.

This episode is a personal reflection on “No Shade November.” More specifically, what I learned from the process of inviting more accountability as I sought to be less critical of others.
