“And now, the end is near

And so I face the final curtain…”

Well, sort of. After 12 wonderful years of broadcasting on myhouseyourhouse radio I’ve decided to step down and cease the live streaming of the Noodle Hotpot show. This will be the last show to be uploaded on podomatic as well. Don't worry, the hotpot will continue in a series of episodic podcasts over on mixcloud (link >> https://www.mixcloud.com/beane_noodler)

So this was the final farewell show that was broadcast on 1st July 2018. It's been a hell of a ride. Thank you for joining me on it. Your support has been wonderful

We'll meet again soon I'm sure

x

Thanks to everyone who supported the show this year. 2017 has been a good un so it's that time again when I take a look back over the past 12 months and pull out some of my favourite cuts that were released this year. Always a headache to squeeze everything into a 3 hour special (I actually went over by 30 mins!) but overall I'm happy with the selection. It's been a grand year looking back with some fantastic old and new productions doing the business. As ever Athens of the North came correct (with not one but 3 entries in this show) as well as Floating Points' Melodies International releasing some top draw gear from yesteryear - records that were long forgotten but now given a new lease of life. My top 3 records of the year of course had to be included (Steve Monite, Wajeed and Amor) and this show could of been a hell of a lot longer but I hope you enjoy it as much as I did in putting it together

Merry Christmas and I'll see you all in the new year

This was only supposed to be a one off show a few years ago to celebrate the Olympic games but has now turned into a bit of an annual celebration of all things 'Brazil' so here we go, deep into Volume 3 of my Brazilian Love Affair series. Taking in original productions, reworks, re-edits, influences and inspirations from across the decades we hop, skip and jump across the tempos for two hours of wonderful music that either originates from Brazil or at the very least, is heavily influenced by that wonderful South American country.

Enjoy

:)
