(6/21/2020) In this episode we mourn the loss of Ian Holm famous for his roles in Lord of the Rings, From Hell, etc., we briefly discuss Jay & Silent Bob Reboot, how you can make a period piece set in most eras and manage to capture the prevailing feeling of the times but not the 90's. There's something unique about the Gen X angst of that era that's hard to authentically recreate. We also talk about the recent news out of Oklahoma State (both good and bad) about the renaming of a building named after a racist governor (good news) and the situation Mike Gundy found himself in recently (bad news). We finish things off talking about the debut of the long awaited all-new Ford Bronco and Jeremiah's "Sweet Ride!" a Honda Accord. Rate, Share and Subscribe if you like what you hear!
(6/12/2020) In this episode we discuss the passing of iconic comic book writer Denny O'Neil, the retirement of artist Al Jaffee (99 yrs old) who contributed to Mad Magazine for 65 of its 67 years in print and holds the distinction of being the longest working artist, we also talk a little about the movie A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood featuring Tom Hanks and how much this world needs the influence of Mister Rogers, we talk a little about the upcoming 4th Matrix movie and the upcoming 3rd Bill & Ted movie, and my son makes an appearance at the end of the show. (6/5/2020) We talk about the news of DC severing ties with Diamond Comic distributors, we briefly catch up on Covid-19/George Floyd murder protest updates, and we talk a bit about the Back to the Future trilogy regarding how we viewed it as kids versus viewing it as an adult.
(6/2/2020) The killing of unarmed black men by the police has to stop. Something needs to change. Better police training, better background checks when hiring, whatever will help end this. George Floyd was killed for something as trivial as an alleged counterfeit $20 bill. His story is just one of so many thousands in the history of this country. We did not discuss this in depth because we are not the voices that need to be heard right now. We are unimportant. We wanted to release this episode to suggest places for people to donate or take action or to learn about police brutality. This is by no means a comprehensive list, but it is our small contribution to this issue.
(5/23/2020) In this episode we have to once again eulogize a celebrity, Lynn Shelton. We also discuss how comic book artist Rob Liefeld is often a real jerk, stores already hit hard by Amazon and the fading popularity of malls are now closing due to the Covid-19 pandemic, global emissions have dropped significantly in many big cities (but not in Chicago), Netflix is purging inactive subscribers and we can't understand the benefit of that, TV shows we're currently watching or looking forward to watching, how modern horror movies are lame, and just a few of the problems with the World War Z movie. Please leave a rating, share and subscribe if you enjoy what you hear.
(5/16/2020) In this episode we memorialize Fred Willard who just passed away, we talk about how we each got into reading comics, the first comic and entertainment convention we went to, and an ongoing debate about the existence of a Polaroid of Lou Ferrigno and Caleb that Jeremiah has definitely made up in his mind. If you know anything about the whereabouts of such a Polaroid contact Robert Stack on Unsolved Mysteries.
(5/12/2020) In this episode we briefly discuss the career of Jerry Stiller and mourn his passing, Jeremiah found a soundboard, my wife and kids can be heard screaming and playing as they chase each other around upstairs, we discuss how television was ruined by "reality" shows in the early 2000s and later saved by networks like AMC, IFC, USA, Netflix, Hulu, etc., we talk about shows we're currently watching and how a lot of older shows (specifically Mr. Bean) still hold up today. Here's a link to the funnyordie (NSFW) video I mention during the podcast if you want to check it out.

(5/5/2020) In this episode Jeremiah makes himself a drink, Caleb and Jeremiah discuss some of the sports and businesses that are planning to reopen (too early in our opinions), how some established actors and directors get lazy while some stay hungry and playful, and how there aren't really any character actors under 40 who really stand out anymore like they used to.
(4/25/2020) Originally this was supposed to be a shorter bonus episode or mini-episode, but what usually happens with us is we just can't stop talking, so it turned into a full episode.
This is an interesting oral history by Wired of the days leading up to and during the outbreak of Covid-19 in the United States: An Oral History of the Day Everything Changed: https://www.wired.com/story/an-oral-history-of-the-day-everything-changed-coronavirus/?fbclid=IwAR2wrKCiyxEPOVOmjU4WoaHLmxTgS8PQyhZlvEaYkgCUyV3p3vnwxDMbVhI
(4/18/2020) In this episode, Caleb and Jeremiah continue their discussion from the previous episode about the differences between Marvel and DC movies, Jeremiah stammers and yammers, and the audio drops out toward the end causing us to have to restart that particular topic (you'll notice it).
