God knows what we long for in our life. ​He knows what we need more than anything else.  He knows what kind of people we are!  He knows that we were made and designed to worship!  Christmas reminds us as to what is to be the heart of our worship!  

Read Matthew 2:1-11; Daniel 4:28-37;   Romans 12:1-2

Christmas makes a great announcement to the world!   The angels proclaim the news that the King of Kings, Jesus is coming!  The King comes!  The even greater news is that the King is coming for you!   He is not just any king!  He is coming to be your king!  

Read Isaiah 9:2, 6-7 and Luke 2 1-20

Whether you are looking for a meaning Thanksgiving or a great Christmas you cannot find one without understand the grace of God!  The key to having a life-giving relationship with God is GRACE!  In the first chapter of John's gospel it says "From the fullness of God's grace we have all received one blessing after another!"  Come to church this Sunday and grow in your understanding of the grace of God.

We have great concerns for security!  It is a driving force in our life...to have security!  When the borders of our nation are insecure and the world is exploding in conflict, and terrorists are doing horrific things we just don't feel good inside.  Our future is threatened because we lack the sense of security.  What is it that you search for in your life so that you can begin to have some confidence about the future...security!  What do you pursue so that you might comes to say, "I am  OK?"  Where is it that you turn so that you might feel secure?

Read Ecclesiastes 2:4-9; Luke 12:13-21

A different kind of message today as I move you to consider your treasure.  What is the real treasure of your life?  Where can you turn to find great treasure?  As we move toward Thanksgiving we certainly want to give thanks for our treasure, so I pray this message will help you!

October 29, 2023 - "The Path to Thanksgiving and Christmas: Time!"

Read Revelation 1:4-8 and discover who is the to be the King of your time

Hard to imagine that something like that could happen.  But it did happen by way of God's grace and purpose.  And by way of God's grace and purpose it can happen to you as well.  You can become more than you ever imagined.  Today we look at Gideon and I hold him out to you in order that he might be an inspiration to you as you seek to live your life to the glory of God.

Today's message gives a real insight into the type of person God uses.  Mary could not believe it when God said, "You are the one!"  It was more than she ever imagined.  We often times find ourselves thinking very much the same way as God puts us in a situation to be used by Him for great purposes.  Today we look at the type of person that God chooses to use for great things.

Jabez had a dream of being more than anyone else thought he could be.  That is the dream I want you to have, and that is what this message is all about.  You can be more than what others are telling you are!  Like Jabez you need to be listening to God!  If you will not be you, nobody else is going to do it!  You can be more than you imagine!

Today we are reminded again that the real strength that we need for success does not come from us, but it comes from God.  Samson came to see that his strengths were getting in the way of God doing really great things in his life.  Samson came to learn that a person's life is only as strong as his weakest commitment.  When all strength seems to be gone, God can make the most powerful person alive!
