What would you like your children to say about you after you are gone?  Perhaps it would be that you were a loving person, a faith-filled person, a hopeful and positive individual!  Those are great things!  But there is something else that the Bible holds out as so important when it comes to setting an example for future generations.  Do you know what it is?  This Sunday we are going to talk about it.

It is not a good feeling to be stuck - stuck at the airport, stuck in a ditch, stuck in a relationship,  stuck with the bill, but have you ever been stuck in "unforgiveness".  Most of us have and it is not a good place to be.  Pastor Al will explain and will allow the Word of God to sort it all out for you.  

Read Genesis 37:12-36.  It would be helpful if you would continue in Genesis to read the story of Joseph if you do not recall it.

Pastor Klatt will be preaching today.   We all have hard times come upon us in this life. If we are not experiencing it right now, it will most likely come in your future. Hardship can be sudden, deep and difficult. On this Father's Day, we will confront the reality of hardship and explore the way to come out OK on the other side in our life in Jesus.

It is a terrible feeling!  You put so much of you into something and nothing seems to have prevailed. You have faced a dead end! While it all may appear to have been for nothing, God has His way of making it really something. It is all part of faith development! Let’s talk about it!

Read Romans 4, II Cor. 1:9-10

We all face trouble. It surrounds us. What is the old saying? “If something can go wrong, it will!” Sometimes we feel that “difficulty” is our middle name. What we need to remember is that God can use our difficulties for great good, ever for greater things than we ever dreamed. God uses difficulties in our life to grow our faith! That is today’s message.

Read John 16:33, Acts 27, Psalm 73, II Cor. 4:17

Sometimes we are so “on fire” for our dream and so “gong ho” for our decisions that we just cannot understand why things are not moving along. We expect that things would be happening, but they are not. It is a difficult time but it is a time that God uses to develop our faith. Today we talk about it!
