Nothing is seen more clearly from the cross then the humanity of Jesus. Jesus, as God’s Son, becomes one with man completely and totally and with very good reason. It is this truth that we will share this Sunday as witness all that God has accomplished for us upon the cross.

Read Philippians 2:5-11 and John 19:28-29

Pouring out from the cross is not just blood, but love. With every ounce of blood Jesus shed on the cross comes tons of love for people like you and me. The most beautiful picture of this is seen as Jesus looks out and sees his mother and the disciple the Bible says Jesus loved the most. As we allow our hearts to be open to tenderness of Jesus words from the cross we witness his overwhelming care for each of us as His brothers and sisters.

Throughout this Lenten series we will be focusing on the most important messages that come to us “From The Cross”. Today we hear Jesus not only speaking to the people who crucified him, but to us: “Father forgive them for they know not what they are doing!” We all need forgiveness in our life! Today I call out to you to see the importance of God’s forgiveness in your life!

Have you ever had a big splash of snow or mud on your windshield while driving? It is very scary and dangerous. You can't see the road. You don't know where you are going. Jesus came to heal blindness, but not just the physical kind as you will see in the story this morning. He came so that everyone can see the path to God. Pray that God will open the eyes of your heart this morning.

Some of the hardest stumbles in our life come when our pride gets in the way. Companies, families and kingdoms fall based on pride and prejudice. We are only one step away from this happening to you. We will explore the antidote to pride, and Jesus' explanation of a different approach to life that pleases God.

God knows how to prepare us for the big events in our lives, including our most difficult moments. Jesus was on a path to glory, but it was a path that included suffering and death. God is preparing us, today, to walk in His footsteps. Are you ready?

Jonah is obedient to God's will is for his mission, but Jonah's heart is not in it because God is not doing what he likes. Things are not happening the way Jonah wants it all to happen.  He is filled with resentment!  What do you do when things don't go your way?   The life of Jonah is representative of God's people Israel!  That is the big picture as we will see and Jonah is far from being Jesus!

God gives everyone a mission in life.  As He calls us into His Kingdom He seeks to move us into that mission that He has in mind for us.  Do you know what your mission is in life?  Today we are going to talk about it.
