This week, we look at a couple of online dating horror stories, horror stories that a lot of us can relate with: whether the date grows obsessive, becomes manipulative,  starts stalking, or is just... creepy. We then dive into obsessive behaviors and our own experience with dates like these (while briefly discussing Nana's mommy issues).

We can't imagine how hard motherhood is, but we can only imagine the joy and love a mother has for her baby, they would do anything for them... anything!

This week, we learned all about the art of spurgling -  the act of A woman tricking a man into having a baby. Listen to this week's episode as we dive into the history and the many different methods of spurgling, and why someone would become a spurglar. We also have a story from a self-confessed spurglar, and a story from a man who was spurgled (nope, not the same sperms).

It's so good to be back Bookworms and welcome to Season 2 of The Notbook Podcast!!!! 

For you magical creatures who have been with us since the beginning, words cannot describe our appreciation for you!!! And for everyone who's just joining us, welcome to a world of dating horror stories, true love and a whole lot of cringe!! Tune into the premier of Season 2 where we've introduced a new format focusing on one topic or story per episode. At the end of each episode, we will either have a guest to help give us another viewpoint of the situation or we'll include a snippet called the "What the **ckness." 

What better way to kick off the new season than with an episode on Dating During a Pandemic!!! Everyone around the world is facing this pandemic, likely in a lock-down situation, so how the heck are we supposed to date during this time?

1) Our first guest dives into how he's had to modify his dating ways completely. He is someone who is usually technology averse, but is now 'forced' to join an online dating site because we don't know when our lock down will be over in Canada! 

2) Our second guest dives into how she is keeping her relationship healthy with her man, while maintaining social distancing because he is a front line worker. 

3) Amy goes into how her and Kevin are surviving in a 600 sqft apartment downtown, and how she's preparing for Kevin to start residency in a couple of months!

4) Nana talks about how her and Lyman are managing spending time with each other 24/7 and Lyman starts gaming for the first time during their relationship!

Hello beautiful Bookworms! Welcome to our 37th episode: End of an Era.
