See how I use my bank skills, use the account opening my system, and a little empathy to get 4 accounts out of this lady. Learn how even though I was told that she doesn't have direct deposit, I give her the form anyway with "advice" on how to get money faster during tax time, which will benefit my bonus as well. Learn how we make a deposit into one account, yet move money all over to the other accounts to activate them for sales credit for me, and tell her to move it back, knowing it may never have money again.

Learn how I hatch a plan to use her 3-4 yo girl to be added to all her accounts to avoid the monthly fee, and to earmark 2 of those as "Kalie's college fund" which will give her no value at all.

Host Note: I was emotional and physically ill after recording this podcast. Roelof Botha, A venture capitalist, a former CFO of Paypal, and all-around majorly successful businessman, the type Bank of America should want announces on Twitter that Bank of America "fired" him as a client. Why? Who knows? The fact that Bank of America did this to one of the best and brightest caused millions of impressions of this tweet and thousands of rt's and comments. 

I tweeted some reasons that BofA normally "business decisions" people, and @BankBetterGuy got over 130,000 tweet impressions, nearly 100 followers and a lot of discussion in the last 24 hours. Simply amazing

This conversation has led to a bigger discussion as to why Bank of America does this to people less successful than myself or Roelof Botha. Thankfully starting a debate. I go on a 30m monologue about what happened.

Bank of America commissioned a survey a couple years back that has to deal with millennials and banking. It was published Feb. 2018 and CNBC did a report on it. For reasons unknown, it went viral on Twitter last week, leading to one of Why Your Bank Sucks Biggest biggest weeks ever. A couple hundred thousand twitter impressions later, we debunked the supposed "scientific" survey.

Learn how I worked as a banker in a college town where I never met one wealthy student. Learn how 300 millennials were surveyed, but it took Bank of America 3,525 times to get enough millennials to consider it a decent sample size. Learn how Bank of America polled millennials in major cities with a lot of high paying jobs to get the info they wanted out of the survey, and learn how all of this was just supposed to be a sales driver for bankers, and a "reality check" for millennials.

Royce was a small business owner who had a great business going, until BofA saw him as competition and froze his account with his money in it, leaving it frozen for 3 months. We fought hard to get it back. I explain how!

Plus Bank of left a lot of cities in NM on November 1, 2013. I worked at one of the branches in Socorro, NM that got sold to Washington Federal because Bank of America claimed to be "successful in teaching residents about the benefits of digital banking. Learn how Bank of America spun the sale, and sold a bunch of banks to a smaller bank with lesser quality. Wells Fargo names Charles Scharf as their CEO.

After months of debating whether they would think outside the box in hiring the next head honcho, which included token female applicant Cathy Bessant of Bank of America, Wells went with a man who was an "outsider" despite the fact he freaking ran VISA AND BANK OF NEW YORK. He must be like a TV rerun, if you haven't seen him, he's new to you.
