You know that moment. You’re talking to someone you don’t know well and something comes out of your mouth and immediately you think — "why did I say that."
And then the spiral starts.
In this episode, yoga therapist Keri Marino talks about that extremely relatable experience — the post-conversation replay, the inner critic verdict, the quiet exhaustion of being hard on yourself — and offers a different way through. One rooted in yogic wisdom, self-compassion and a little honest humor.
Because you’re not a weirdo. You’re just human. And there’s actually something you can do about it.

At some point in your life, you started practicing yoga and I bet - there were some very specific reasons that you originally gave it a try. You were looking for something and yoga ended up being beneficial for you! Woohoo!
Sometimes the best thing for your practice - is to remember. To let yourself feel into what you love about this tradition and what it gives you...the why behind the desire to meditate, breathe, get on your mat and more.
Yoga therapist and yoga teacher Keri Marino shares some about why she practices and what yoga gives her that nothing else does while helping you reflect on your journey.

If you've experienced pregnancy loss — or love someone who has — this episode is for you.
1 in 4 women have a reported miscarriage. The actual number is likely much higher. And yet pregnancy loss is one of the most quietly carried griefs in a woman's life — pushed under the rug by a society that doesn't know how to hold it.
In this episode Keri Marino — yoga therapist and yoga teacher since 2009 and founder of The Nourished Woman — and Susannah Baldwin — licensed professional counselor, perinatal mental health certified and founder of Reproductive Journey Counseling — name the invisible grief, the lack of support and what actually helps women not just survive pregnancy loss but grow and transform through it.
This isn't a heady conversation about grief theory. Both of us know this terrain personally and professionally. Keri shares her own journey healing from two miscarriages. Susannah brings years of specialized experience supporting women through reproductive loss. Together we offer what we wish someone had said to us sooner.
You'll hear real client insights, practical ideas for your path forward and an honest conversation about what therapy and yoga therapy can reach that nothing else quite does.
You don't have to carry this alone. And you don't have to stay stuck in it.

October is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month — and I’m sharing my personal experience navigating two miscarriages. One where I had almost no support, grieved quietly and was caught in the undertow for far longer than anyone knew. And one where I was held, resourced and chose to grieve out loud — and what a difference that made.
You’ll hear the real, honest story. The medical emergency nobody prepared me for. The loneliness. The ways yoga held me when nothing else could reach me. The therapist who finally helped me work through the somatic imprint my body was carrying. And what I know now — after years of recovery, reflection and working with women through their own pregnancy loss — about grief, healing and the transformation that’s genuinely possible on the other side.
This episode is for you if you’ve experienced pregnancy loss and have felt the weight of carrying it quietly. If you’ve wondered why you’re still not okay even though time has passed. If you’ve sensed that something beyond talk therapy might help but haven’t known what. Or if you simply need to hear someone tell the truth about what this actually feels like.
Here holding this experience with you.

Real talk, let's get you a better night of sleep. If you are like most of the women I work with, you have pretty high expectations for yourself and those are harder to live by if you aren't sleeping well. Patience goes down, stress reactivity is up and even things like memory and mood all suffer.
Your logical mind already know sleep is important.. but what do you do if your brain won't turn off at night or you wake up anxious in the middle of the night?
In this episode, yoga therapist and yoga teacher Keri Marino shines light on some simple actions you can take to help with this struggle and sleep better too.

I went to Cambridge alone for five days and came home a slightly different person. Then real life happened and I lost it almost immediately. This episode is about that — the pausing, the clarity, the losing it and how to find small pockets of it again inside the fullness of your actual life. I speak alot about motherhood in this episode, and it's for any woman who wants to feel more at peace, aligned and weave yoga practice into your days.

In the episode, yoga therapist and yoga teacher since 2009 Keri Marino unpacks how to recognize fight or flight, helps you understand why your nervous system takes you there, reminds you that you're not broken and highlights why yoga might be exactly what you need.

Sometimes what you need most is just to pause and be deeply honest with yourself about what you're feeling and where you are in your life. It's brave work, it's vulnerable and it's a game changer.
In this short episode, yoga therapist and yoga teacher Keri Marino talks about why honesty with yourself is the foundation of self-trust, why you avoid it and what specific yogic practices can help you find clarity without being critical of yourself or getting to in the weeds of analysis.
It closes with an invitation to do a journaling practice so save that prompt for later or grab a journal and pen to apply this in real time.

Some women find this show because they're tired of doubting themselves, feeling disconnected and are looking for answers.
Some find it because they practice yoga (or want to!) and sense…
Some find it because they heard something about yoga philosophy and spirituality and want to know more.
All of them are welcome here.
I'm Keri Marino — Southern girl, feminist, slightly feral mama of three, chef wife and yoga therapist of 17 years.
Yoga saved my life. I mean that literally. And I have spent every year since figuring out how to share what it actually holds with women who are ready to receive it.
This is the podcast version of the conversations I have been having for 17 years — honest, unapologetic, sometimes funny and always going somewhere real.
I profoundly f*cking care that you feel whole, know you are enough and feel deeply resourced.
These are the things you need to hear — and didn't know you needed.
Let's go, love. 💜
