This week you asked what we look for when purchasing land or leasing land for hunting? Karl, and Mike touch on all of the aspects that they looked at when each of them purchased different properties. Finances, layouts what they want to see on a property to even consider if they are interested. Then the guys talk about leasing, and what they have done in the past good and bad experiences with the leasing process. For twenty years or more the guys never owned their own land it was public or leased, or on a friends land. This week we discuss plans to make the properties better for the 2022 season. Its time to get to work in the woods, and these are some of the thoughts on how we do that. You guys asked us our thoughts on clover brands what we use, and how we lay clover out on the property, and why we would use it at all. We hit on our TSI plans for March, and if they are needed at all. Then we discuss plans on corn, beans if we use it or if its needed , and our thoughts on how to lay it out on our land. We discuss what we use it for in the land layouts on our properties, and some ideas that might help you control deer movement on your property! We also talk Brassicas, Winter Rye Winter Wheat, and what we use them for! Its time to have your plan ready the planting season will be on us before we know it.
