Who says big problems can’t be combated with small things, or in this case a burrito-sized adventure towel! Reese is an Idaho based white-water rafting guide turned entrepreneur. Distraught over the epidemic of microplastic in our waterways he was inspired to find a solution and founded Confluent Goods. An environmentally friendly solution to the traditional quick-drying travel towel, Confluent Good’s adventure towels are made from high-preforming natural materials, soft, quick-drying, dyed with natural materials like avocado pits and pomegranate skins, and best of all plastic-free!
In this episode, Courtney and Nick sit down with Reese to talk about how he got into running rivers, how working in the outdoors prepared him to start a company, our plastic and microplastic problem, and how all of us can be inspired to make a difference!
