This episode is all over the place — in the best way.

I start with how close me and Craig Visionz came on a bet that had us sweating. One more bucket from Josh Giddey. Warriors players selling at the worst time. Laughs, energy, and that sick feeling only sports betting can give you when you’re right… but not right enough.

Then the tone shifts.

I talk about a Mexico trip we had planned for the second week of March, how recent cartel violence made us rethink it, and memories from my first time going to Sonora, Mexico — border moments, unexpected chaos, and real fun. It turns reflective as I catch myself realizing how American it is to stress travel plans while people are living through real danger and businesses are struggling.

From there, I slide back into my lane — Scream 7, why that franchise still matters to me, and how it’s one of the rare horror series that understands legacy, trauma, and survival.

I close by circling back to sports betting — how it changes the way we watch games, how it messes with how we see players, and why loving the game sometimes gets lost when money’s on the line.
