The Old Man Wade Show

Sharmane Fury joins Old Man Wade to discuss a spoiler-filled episode of Ryan Coogler’s Sinners. Among the topics are how the characters used common sense in a magical world, the antagonist wasn’t a racist white guy, and so much more. Also, remember the phrase “It’s half a kink shame.” 

Old Man Wade and Supa Woke Javi talk about their favorite comic book of the year, The Power Fantasy by writer Kieron Gillen and artist Caspar Wijngaard. The Dauntless Duo breaks down the first five issues, why they love it, discusses the politics, and so much more. It's doubtful Wade and Javi have talked as passionately about a comic book since the beginning of the X-Men's Krakoan Era.

After Wade tells a happy story from his personal life, the guys get into whether or not Storm *needs* a solo comic book (despite loving Murewa Ayodele's series). It isn't a knock on her. In fact, she's so good she may not need it to be great. 

After that, it's on to Prime Video's Invincible. The Bald Black Nerds break down what is making the third season the best so far, talk about the criticism the animation has gotten, ponder if Cecil is as bad as Amanda Waller and Nick Fury, and if we're getting certain scenes that could be triggering to viewers. 

The episode transitions to One World Under Doom No. 1. This is full of spoilers and, fun fact, Doom may have gotten things right.
