YES, IT’S TRUE. Neither of us had seen The Shawshank Redemption and now we’ve each only seen half. 

Especially considering how many people respect this movie and (rightfully) value its prestige, I must remind you there are SPOILERS. The movie is 30 years old. Just watch it.

Alexis and Suzy split the movie The Fault in Our Stars. There are SPOILERS for this filth in the episode so if you’re still trying to hide from John Green’s truth in 2024 (?) this is not for you.
The Fault in Our Stars is a 2012 novel about a girl (Hazel Grace) whose lungs have been affected by thyroid cancer. It is one of the best selling books of all time.
The Fault in Our Stars is also a 2014 coming-of-age movie starring Shailene Fucking Woodley. It was nominated for seven 2014 Teen Choice Awards and it won all seven.
Justin Bieber is a Canadian pop icon born in March 1994, making him newly 19 years old in April 2013 when he signed the guestbook at the Anne Frank house with “Truly inspiring to be able to come here. Anne was a great girl. Hopefully she would have been a belieber.”

Alexis and Suzy went to the movie theater in person and spun the Picker Wheel to see which of them WATCHED and which HEARD the excellent 2023 film Wonka.
