In this episode, we consider what it means to humbly submit ourselves to the care, correction, and teaching of the elders of the church. This is not a passive posture, but an active expression of trust in God's design for His church. Our covenant reminds us that we walk in obedience not only by submitting to faithful shepherds (Heb. 13:17; 1 Pet. 5:5), but also by "diligently striving for unity and peace within the church" (Eph. 4:1–3). In a world often marked by division and resistance to authority, the church is called to a better way—a way shaped by humility, gentleness, and submission to the Lord.
