In 2015, The One Piece Podcast read through the entire series One Piece from beginning to the present day — which at the time included just around 800 chapters — in around four months. Today, that number is over 900, so we decided it’s time for another go at it. We’re going to be reairing the first 13 parts of our One Piece Readthrough series every Friday on the main podcast feed — and we’re going to have a special sweepstakes thanks to the good folks at VIZ Media to celebrate! We will be giving away five copies of the brand-new One Piece Color Walk Compendium: East Blue to Skypiea! This includes material from the first three Color Walk books in a beautiful hardcover edition, translated by our very own Stephen Paul.

We will choose one winner each week for five weeks — the winners will be announced on Twitter and on the show every Friday. For those who are new to One Piece, don’t worry! Each episode includes a main segment that’s completely spoiler-free and an additional, separate segment that looks at things in perspective of what we know now. (1 & 2) Dressrosa: We’re going to give it another go! We reviewed Dressrosa back in 2015, just as the arc ended. With the perspective of time, we feel it deserves another shot with some fresh eyes. These episodes will include a look at the material in Volumes 70 through 80.

(3) Zou: We’re going to go through the adventures in the Mokomo Dukedom for the very first time. This episode will include a look at the material in Volumes 80 through 82.

(4) Whole Cake Island: The Whole Cake Island arc ended a few months ago, so we’re going to give the story a fresh read from beginning to end. This episode will include a look at the material in Volumes 82 through 89.
