COG STUDIOS, Calif. -- There really is no denying that this year's Major League Soccer schedule is a weird one. There were so many stops and starts it's hard to carry any momentum through international breaks that seem to come in rapid succession and then get back into a sprint toward the next break.

But what has that really done to the LA Galaxy this year? What has been lost in this constant sprint-and-stop pace that sees just six games remaining in the regular season?
