Have you ever felt gone down the rabbit hole of TV and social media? It can definitely be disorienting at times. I had to take a fast from social media and when I did it allowed me to appreciate myself and my mind in a different way. When you become more conscious about what you digest it changes you. Shift your social media diet to something positive and watch the changes that start to occur in your life.

Many times we find ourselves using words that seem harmless. Words that start to seep into our subconscious mind and shape the way we view ourselves. They also shape how we view the world around us. May you be encouraged to use affirming words that lift you up instead of tear you down. Be conscious of your words today.

Have you ever felt good around certain people? Every time you see them they make you feel wanted and welcomed. Their energy is almost palpable whenever they enter a room. Realize you have that same energy within you. You affect people everywhere you go. When you value yourself, others value you as well.

This morning Mantra was taken from a book by Robin Sharma called “The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari”. May it bless you and carry you through tough times. May you call upon it for guidance when in a pinch or a bind.

There was a comic book I read recently about Jedi Master Mace Windu. In this story the lines between the light and dark side of the force were blurred. There was a divide among the council members and a lone Jedi that felt as though he had been betrayed. I pray you receive a lesson as I did that things may not always be as they seem. Before you follow blindly, think for yourself if you are on the right path.

I seen a man a nearby fitness gym named Dave. He said something that won me over and made me laugh. It let me know that he was comfortable in his own skin. Unbothered by others perception of his image. I loved it so much I wanted to share it with you.

Ask yourself this question. What is the difference between a reason and an excuse? Whatever you think is holding you back from your goals and dreams. Are they reasons or are they excuses? When we really think about it, in every scenario we can conjure, far more people have done more with less. Don’t give yourself a reason or excuse. Get after it today! MAKE your dreams come true.
