Welcome back to another episode! I am so excited to have you here.
It is that time of year again - of fresh new beginnings, magical moments and extremely potent energy. And I am so excited to bring this episode to you!
Today, we are talking about the Word of the Year. Do you have one picked out already? Or is this something new for you? Either way, my intention is for this episode to inspire you to pick one out and try it on for size in the new year.
In this episode, I'm sharing:
- How I came across this concept;
- Why I love having a Word of the Year, especially around the new year;
- How having a Word of the Year helps;
- The Word I had for 2022 and what I have picked for 2023;
- How to pick out your Word (or Mantra) of the Year; and
- How to make it work for you.
I suggest you get a journal and spend some time with the questions. Here are the questions I shared:
- Is there an area you want to step up in and amplify? A goal you want to achieve, a quality you’d love to embody and do more of or have more of in your life?
- An experience more of in your life?
- What do you want to see happen?
- What are some achievements you want to experience in the reality you are creating for yourself in the coming year?
- What do you need in this season of your life? What is your top priority?
- Who do you need to become to have those experiences and achievements? What qualities and characteristics and emotions does that version of you embody?
What word or mantra do you have picked out for the year ahead? Let me know on Instagram - @TheOptimisticAgenda! If you need any help picking out your word or mantra, or you have any questions, feel free to reach out to me and I will be more than happy to help.
