In this particular adventure, i had the pleasure of having an in-depth conversation with Kenya biodiversity coalition national coordinator Mrs. Anne Maina about biodiversity and GMO’s!

She has been very pro-active in articulating on why we need biodiversity at the same time saying #NoToGMO’s where she actually played a very critical role in the government’s decision to outlaw GMO’s back in 2012

I started off by first understanding what biodiversity is, and why we actually need it. We also delved deep into the controversial topic of GMO’s where she helped us understand what GMO’s are, what their effects are, what we can learn from the African countries already growing them and whether we actually need them!
