  • Simplifying "Overnight" Success with Blogger and Influencer Emily Ann Frimberger
This episode features the fab Emily Frimberger of Everything Emily Ann, a fashion/lifestyle/beauty blogger and influencer who I had the pleasure of getting organized along with some of the other Sort and Sweet chicks. Emily seemingly became an overnight success, with some of the highest engagement on Instagram I've ever seen! But she tells us about her journey from starting a blog out of passion while in college to making it a full time career and how much work truly goes on behind the scenes.Similar to blogging and influencing, professional organizing is a relatively new industry in the grand scheme of things. So we talk about the struggles we've faced in figuring it out as we go, as well as, give tips on how we've learned to simplify things. I also manage to sneak some advice in about how to minimize your physical clutter so take a listen and I sincerely hope you learn something from two women who have been through it.You can follow Emily here:Everything Emily Ann BlogEverything Emily Ann IGEverything Emily Ann FBAnd if you wanna give me a follow:For home and organizing tips on the gram : sortandsweetFor biz and life organizing tips on the gram : maryccornettaSort and Sweet Website**Custom organizing labels mentioned in the episode to order on the S and S site: https://www.sortandsweetny.com/our-productsOrganized Overall WebsiteAnd if you wanna work with me to organize you life overall : 1:1 Coaching Organized Overall Application FormPSST! • Outsourcing your Tasks and Flaunting your Flaws with the Podcast Coach and Editor Rubi Skilton
This episode is extremely special to me as it was my first in person interview with my podcast editor, Rubi Skilton! Not only do I rely on her heavily to help make this podcast happen, we also have a shared life experience that we've bonded over. While my Chiari Malformation is invisible, her limb difference is not. We chat a little about how to embrace and flaunt the flaws you have, rather than hide them and let them hold you back.We also talk about the importance of staying in your zone of genius and outsourcing the tasks that you don't need to do in your business. Hiring someone like, oh I don't know, a podcast editor or professional organizer, can save you TONS of time, energy and stress. So that way, in the end, you can focus on what you need to do to be successful as an entrepreneur.Take a listen to our (not totally organized but awesome) chat AND receive a special gift from Rubi to the listeners of The Organized Entrepreneur. If you have ever thought about starting your own podcast, she is offering a complimentary hour long strategy call (value of $100) to discuss your ideas and next steps. You can book your call with the podcast queen herself right HERE!And you can follow Rubi here:Podcasting 101 FB GroupPodcast and Co IG PageFlaunt your Flaws IG PageFlaunt your Flaws PodcastFlaunt your Flaws YouTube ChannelAnd if you wanna give me a follow:For home and organizing tips on the gram : sortandsweetFor biz and life organizing tips on the gram : maryccornettaSort and Sweet WebsiteOrganized Overall WebsiteAnd if you wanna work with me to organize your life overall : 1:1 Coaching Organized Overall Application Form

  • Embracing Minimalism and How it Makes you a Better Leader
My guest on this episode is Jasmine Rae, a former client of mine who I kinda, sorta forced to embrace minimalism. But now she's loving it and her businesses are thriving!Jasmine is a certified fitness professional and founder of Rae of Hope, a non profit that provides fitness programs for at risk teens. She uses her own experience with drug and alcohol addiction to show kids that there are alternatives outlets for them, such as working out. Her story has inspired me from day one and I'm excited for her to share with you!We chat about another addiction - shopping -  and how it can lead to a cluttered home and head. I've watched Jasmine do a 180, removing all unnecessary clutter from her space (and moving cross country with only a handful of bags and boxes!) and thriving in her business. Minimalism has helped her be a better coach and business owner, and has overall simplified her life.Take a listen as she shares her journey with you and her perspective from a self proclaimed disorganized, messy person to an organized, thriving BOSS.You can follow Jasmine here:Jasmine Rae InstagramRae of Hope InstagramRae of Hope WebsiteAnd if you wanna give me a follow...For home and organizing tips on the gram : sortandsweetFor biz and life organizing tips on the gram : maryccornettaFor a community of organized entrepreneurs : The Organized Entrepreneur FB GroupSort and SweetOrganized Overall

  • Decluttering your Mind and Why it has Everything to do with Your Success
Most people ask me for help to declutter their physical space, the clutter that piles up in their homes and offices, but almost no one thinks to ask for help with decluttering the internal stuff. The funny thing is, physical clutter is the direct manifestation of internal clutter. That's where it allll begins. For me, I had so much mental clutter for the first 30+ years of my life that it prevented me from moving forward and from doing the things I really wanted to do. Including starting my own business! Once I was confident enough to make the leap, I still work to maintain a clutter free brain every. single. day. Much like going to the gym regularly helps keep your body in tip top shape, working on your mindset daily helps keep your noggin getting stronger and stronger. In this solo episode, I not only explain how and why it's so important it is to declutter your mind, I also give you actionable tips on how to do it, straight from a pro! For home organizing tips on the gram : sortandsweetFor biz and life organizing tips on the gram : maryccornettaFor a community of organized entrepreneurs : The Organized EntrepreneurSort and SweetOrganized Overall
