It's that time of the year again, to look back on the goals I laid out for myself in January 2022 and see how I've tracked. Well, to cut a long story short - I failed miserably.

In today's episode, you'll hear me ranting about London for 21 minutes and 14 seconds. I've been thinking and talking about small town life for a while now and it's slowly but surely drawing me in. 

While I love the hustle and bustle of a city, I just can't seem to love London in the slightest. I'm weighing up the pros and cons of city life vs a small town and talking about what 2023 has in store.

2022 really was the year of travel for me, starting off the year in New York, travelling to Paris, Berlin, Rome, Vienna, Barcelona, Greece, Bali, Copenhagen and some English, Welsh and Irish places in between, I sat down and deep dived into each trip - which was good, which was bad and which was a will-never-go-back-there. 

I'm excited to end 2022 in New York, right back to where I started the year but in the meantime, if you need any travel inspo, hopefully I've got you covered.

I had something of a heart 'episode' last week shall we say. And since this has probably been a long time coming, I took the time to sit down and think, maybe I'm the problem. Am I the drama? I'm discussing health/lifestyle changes I'm making, updating you on the state of my heart health and telling you why you're too blessed to be stressed. 

So if you need some stress/life advice, then let this podcast be your reminder that nothing is worth sacrificing your health over. Take that from me, a Diet Coke and coffee addict who is now a week and a half caffeine free.

If you've been following my blog for the last few years, you'll know that I was very much all about the Girlboss aesthetic. Thanks to Sophia Amoruso's book changing my life back when I was in university, I was so ready to be a CEO at 21 years of age.

We're having a mini freak out as friends start to get engaged, talk about babies and move to the other side of the world. This of course has me thinking about my own life situation and where I'm at when it comes to these big life events. 

It's a societal norm to get engaged, get married, have kids and buy a house. But what if those things aren't what I want? Can't it be an option to not get married, to not have kids, to keep renting forever? Basically, I want to stay 25 is what I'm really getting at.

Do you want to try your hand at everything on offer? Do you constantly think about changing career paths? Do you constantly take up new hobbies without letting old ones go? Do you feel guilty when you let those hobbies slip to the side for a while? Or is it just me?

This episode was inspired by a message I received on Instagram about being lonely in London and how hard it is to make friends in a new city, especially in your 20s and especially when you don't know anyone. 

So it inspired this podcast since I've been through this a few times in Liverpool, London, New York and once again, in London. So hear my sob stories, my own experiences and the tips that have helped me along the way.
