The Outside Dive

Sometimes when you're tired you have to acknowledge and dissect every passing thought that comes into your mind. That was Jules' strategy this week, while Nile tries to keep things on the rails to discuss Rampage, Dynamite, and AEW's YouTube programming. From a surprise contract signing to no selling a power bomb, our hosts cover it all this week.

This week, Jules and Nile talk about Christian Cage's chance encounter with Scott D'Amore backstage at Dynamite, speculation for the debut of Rampage, and the epic highs and lows of long-term storytelling.

Jules and Nile puzzle out what the EVPs have in store for the future of AEW, the debut of Rampage next week, and the mystery of the card for All Out next month all while trying to contain their excitement at the epic debut of Malakai Black on Dynamite.

A thousand apologies for the slight delay, but this week Jules and Nile are back to discuss pizza cutters, forbidden doors, and card expectations for All Out in September.

This week in wrestling was chock full of special appearances, so many that our intrepid hosts barely know where to begin. Jules and Nile discuss Slammiversary, a surprise for Chris Jericho, and rumors circulating about potential new additions to the AEW roster.

This week on the show Jules and Nile discuss an AEW Dynamite fit for the history books. Honestly they're not even sure where to begin. Cody is back on the horse, Jon Moxley has a title defense, Darby Allin personalized a coffin with his own tattoos, and Hangman Page is finally asking for a title shot! Plus, our brave hosts watched Cody Rhodes on Arrow, so you don't have to.

This week Jules and Nile discuss the soap opera story progression of The Elite and Hangman Adam Page, the potential for the next Tag Team Champions, AEW's newest addition to the men's roster, and the special gift that Tony Khan went out and got just for them.

This week Jules and Nile discuss the Elite's new facial hair, the roster collecting new finishing moves, the story seeds being planted for Chuck Taylor (and all his best friends), and the unrealized potential of Shawn Spears as a Batman villain.

Come with us now on a journey through time and space as we return to October 2, 2019 and the very first episode of AEW Dynamite on TNT. Where were our stars then and where are they now? Will Sammy Guevara ever wear that dumb panda head again? Only TIME will tell.

This week Nile and Jules discuss Kenny Omega's Impact World Championship title defense against Moose, the storytelling of the Heelite, whether it's Wardlow's World and we're just living in it, and the absurdity of the Inner Circle's graffiti tag.
