The end of all thing s is near. Some may question that statement from 1st Peter. 
This week we discuss Peter's words reminding us that Christ's return is immanent but not immediate. Because of that truth Peter instructs us on how to live waiting and watch for His return. Today could be the day so let's live each day by praying discerningly, love fervently, and serve one another supernaturally.    

This week Michael walked us through chapter 4 with the challenge that Peter is reminding us that there will be suffering in this life for walking with Christ. Just as He suffered death of the cross knowing the future reward was greater than the suffering, we can live with that same "mind of Christ" enduring the present for the greater reward that awaits us. Verse 3 reminds us that we've wasted enough of this life living in the flesh and now should  move towards living for the will of God. What a great perspective shift for how we should live each day.

Ist Peter 3 is really hard to live out on a daily basis. Peter's instruction reminds us of multiple truths to live out our relationships harmony, humility, and compassion with those around us. To live as one adorned with the gospel in the world, just not of it. Enjoy this great conversation.

It's another great conversation about last Sunday's message from First Peter. we were reminded that in a fallen world in which we live, we will have struggles but the best way to maneuver through them is with our hope and trust in Jesus by allowing the Holy Spirit's power to journey through them with victory.

With Christmas right around the corner, Michael, Barkef, and Brian discuss Sunday's sermon that presented the thought of how Christ left his home and was born as a baby, fulfill God's redemptive plan so that we could now know him here on earth with the promise of preparing us a place to be with him forever and know that one day we will finally, truly, be home.

This week pastor Nathan was up to bat. Nathan kicked off our Christmas series by reminding us that the world can see Christmas as a dark time or maybe a good time depending on their circumstances during December. As believers, we aren't bound by that standard but have the eternal hope and can see Christmas as the fulfillment of God's promise to send our Messiah with great joy.  Rejoice! The Light of the world has come.
